New site release: (% done)

Bluestream Airlines was originally started in July of 2004 and ran operations for several months before it was found that the accountant had embezzled all the money and flew (in the company jet no less) off to Europe. Bluestream was forced to shut down all operations and all employees were let go. I, the President & CEO had to sell off everything to pay our bills. It took almost 4 years, but I have found new investors. I have put into place a new business plan and been empowered to purchase all the aircraft we need by the new investors. We have also designed a new company logo as well as new paint schemes for our aircraft.

All of our new aircraft have been ordered from their respective factories. The time-line for their completion is fast approaching. We are looking for pilots that are willing to ferry these aircraft from their factories to our new facility in Navarre, Florida, USA. We have also ordered some used aircraft and they are being fixed up, revitalized, and brought to current codes and safety guidelines. These will also require delivery to KNKL.

We have contracted with the US Navy to do painting and maintenance on Navy aircraft and other vehicles. In exchange, we have been given an old abandoned Navy outlying airfield. The US Navy engineers have completely upgraded the airfield. They have expanded the area of the current airfield, built new roads, paved and lengthened runways, built new taxiways, and tower. BSO is building the cargo complex, office buildings, corporate centers, hangars, and terminal buildings. Young & Swagler Design Group has leased an area on the south-west side of the airfield and is building a general aviation facility there. They are also building the airport hotel and parking.

All appropriate paperwork and fees were submitted to and approved by the FAA for a 14 CFR part 121, 129, and 135 operations license. The FAA has changed the designation from the navys NKL to KNKL. NKL is being given to the water port that the navy and BSO are building south of the airfield. KNKL tower will handle traffic for NKL.

Talks were successful with the Butler County Regional Airport (KHAO)to run operations from that location once again. Purchase of 11 additional acres of land on the southeast side of the airport was made for location of hangars, FBO, and parking lots. A tower will also be built by BlueStream Airlines for the use of the airport. While this was to be the home of Bluestream Airlines, we have decided that it will only be a regional hub now. We considered using an empty section of KCVG (Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport) as well as part of KLUK (Lunken Airport), in Cincinnati, but the corporate offices are located just 1/4 mile from KHAO, to the east, just off the airport property, so the decision was made to stay there. The creation of the Butler County Regional Highway connecting the city of Hamilton to the main I-75 corridor also assisted in our decision.

We have been in talks to start up operations at 2 additional airports. We are looking at starting up a regional hub in North Carolina as well as the Memphis, TN area. Several airports are being considered and talks with them continue. More on which one we will choose soon.

The ordered and new BlueStream Airlines fleet aircraft to be used out of KNKL will include:

There will be more aircraft purchased in January 2010 for use at the other 2 airports. Those airports will begin full operations around June or July 2010.
